Former Birregurra netballer Tully Bethune says there were plenty of surprised people following her selection in Netball Australia’s inaugural First Nations national invitational team, unfamiliar with her family’s roots. The 18-year-old spoke to the Colac Herald’s Ben Martin about her heritage, representing Australia for the first time, and her incredible rise from a young dancer to one of the country’s best young netballers.
