A Colac man has been released into the community after four months in custody for crimes including assault and threatening to kill people.

Sifa and her children were welcomed into the Colac community by the Colac and District Rural Australians for Refugees, Member for Polwarth Richard Riordan and Colac Otway Shire acting mayor Chris Potter, ahead of Refugee Week 2024.
