Until just a few weeks ago, Sifa Irunga and her six children were living in a Kenyan refugee camp which they had called home for almost 10 years.

Sifa and her children were welcomed into the Colac community by the Colac and District Rural Australians for Refugees, Member for Polwarth Richard Riordan and Colac Otway Shire acting mayor Chris Potter, ahead of Refugee Week 2024.
