A Colac district family who woke to 130-kilometre winds ripping the roof off their home have been left in shock and forced to seek emergency housing.

The Colac local will be walking 200 kilometres in just 25 days across October for Walk for Epilepsy 2024.

Steph has complex partial epilepsy, meaning seizures can affect her whole body.
