Colac football officials say retired Tigers champion Jason Armistead is the perfect fit to slot in as the club’s new co-coach.
Colac football manager Brendt Langdon confirmed Armistead would be the Tigers’ new off-field co-coach, sharing the role with retired AFL footballer Seb Ross.
“After a thorough process, we welcome Armi back to his home club,” he said.
“With an elite football brain and coaching experience, we look forward to season 2025 with great optimism.”
Armistead, who was an assistant coach at Bellarine league club Modewarre this year, has also held coaching roles with Anglesea, Geelong Falcons and Richmond’s AFLW team in recent years.
