A fisheries authority is renewing calls for the government to release a carp virus following an increase in the pest in Lake Colac.

DISPOSAL: There’s still no government plan to control the number of carp in Lake Colac but Colac Otway Shire mayor Jason Schram is encouraging people to catch the fish and dispose of them in bins provided by the council.
