Apollo Bay beach rescuers say it’s one of the busiest seasons they’ve seen, but fortunately people are playing safe by the waters.

KEEP SAFE: Apollo Bay Surf Life Saving Club president Darren Hill says people must swim in between the red and yellow flags on a patrolled beach where lifesavers are there to assist, should something go wrong.
