Grand final clash no longer in local leagues

AFL Barwon has released new finals dates tonight, which will mean CDFNL and GFL grand finals will no longer clash due to the Colac district league hosting final-round matches this weekend. 

League officials work through return

“We’ll get the matches that were supposed to be played on Saturday done and from there we’ll work our way through it.”

Colac district league chairman Peter Hickey says league officials want 48 hours to digest today’s shock return out of lockdown, before rushing into footy and netball finals plans.
