    Colac Otway’s young artists have shown off their Colac Otway’s young artists have shown off their wide range of creative talents with a showcase at the Colac Otway Performing Arts and Cultural Centre.

The Colac Otway youth art competition, which included 54 art entries from more than 25 young people, came to a close on Sunday with an awards presentation taking place on Friday.

    Colac’s Anthony and Katy Bright are looking afte Colac’s Anthony and Katy Bright are looking after a piece of the city’s history, as the new custodians of the former Colac station master’s house.

Anthony and Katy moved their surveying business into 36 Rae Street earlier this year after the house underwent renovations. Their business had been operating in Murray Street for 40 years before the move.

The former station master’s building was built in the 1900s and last lived in by a station master in about the 60s.
