Worse thing that could have happened to Colac – the shutting of this school. The Secondary College is letting our kids down. The frequent visits by the police are proof enough of that, even if you ignore the kids leaving the school whenever they feel like it during the day, and the woeful lack of leadership. We had a great school, it needs to be reopened – parents will move their kids back in a shot!

Colac is in dire need of an Athletics precinct…I am a Mum who has travelled over the state for athletics and we are the ONLY one that doesnt have a purpose built centre..thus making us ineligible for regional/state titles etc…The city is missing out on showcasing local talent..We are the ONLY centre that has a grass running track..EVERY other City has a running track, proper discus/shot put pits…long/triple jump pits…besides that..the kids CANNOT compete here after they turn 15. All schools run sports days that could be held there..You want the kids to be healthy in the region then do something to help them along the way…The ignorance on this important matter is disgraceful.
