The passion these posts are written with makes me smile, the reason for this passion is that along with myself these contributors have done the research, they like me have not been taken in with propaganda, I have been studying the effects of these radiation emitting devices, and alarm bells are ringing worldwide. Scientists have issued warnings to pregnant women about the emissions from devices including these so called smart meters, people that live in older houses are at risk of these devices causing an Electrical fire which actually can injure and kill whole families. those people pictured are paid a fortune to try and convince you to have one of these dangerous meters installed in your home. I do not know how how they can sleep at night. no one in this world actually knows just how much damage these millions and millions of radiation emitting devices will have on our planet and all creatures great and small that share it with us. LOCK YOUR METER BOXES PLEASE.
Smiling faced spin doctors you ought to be ashamed of yourselves, all of these millions of radiation emitting meters you are installing in peoples homes are affecting people and animals health along with impacting on insects and migratory birds, bees are vanishing. you dont care about filling our homes and environments with radiation. Scientists are warning we should be reducing the amount of radiation we are exposed too and here you are smiling and lying while try and force your danger meters on to everyone poisoning every living thing in the process. This Government and you will held responsible for this, I believe it to be a Criminal act that you think you can force this on us, and the stress this is causing many who are trying to defend their basic human rights. I say a Pox on the lot of you Evil People who go gaily about spreading Lies with a broad smirk upon your filthy lying evil faces. What you all need,is to be put in the old fashioned wooden stocks as a good old fashioned English punishment and have stinking rotten rubbish like rotten eggs and rotting vegetables thrown at you. So very true Richard. I am off to my Doctor tomorrow and I am going to have it put on my Record how all this is stressing me to the max. I received a reply from ESV confiming that they had received my Submission. I have received notification back that PowerCor have received my ‘ACCESS DENIED’ letter, but haven’t had a reply from them. When I get their reply, my Local paper is most interested to hear the Outcome (although I do not want anymore publicity personally). I just wish for all our sakes the Powers that be, see common sense – STOP THE ROLLOUT and reinstate the SAFE ANALOGUE METERS TO EVERY HOUSE THAT HAS BEEN FORCED TO HAVE A DANGEROUS SMART METER……….we will win in the end!!!!!!

I have had my Electricity Meter Box, which I own and not the sneaky PowerCore Aust Ltd Electric Power Company. My Meter Box is now padlocked ans has been for nearly a year now with an Industrial Padlock. I only unlock it for the Meter Reader Man. My Legal by the High Court of Australia and the Australian Constitution Anti Trespass Notices are staring you in the FACE Mr Shane Breheny the C.E.O of PowerCor.
There is no Law making any Victorian take one of these now proving to be Deadly Dangerous Smart Meters and the evidence coming forward from totally objective scientific bodies like the World Health Organization is that these so-called Smart Microwave Meters are the cause of Type 2B Carcinogens. I am not a Guinea Pig for you of PowerCor and the rest of you Overseas owned Victorian Money Hungry Immoral Electric Power Companies to carry on your deadly Dr Mengele Nazi Type Experiments on. No dopey Microwave, read here Dumb Idiotic Smart Meter is allowed on my property to wreck my health or damage it, as it certainly would. Nor is it allowed on my property to threaten my computers, fax machines, printers, fridge, washing machine etc with the Deadly Dangerous Dirty Electricity radio runaway electric spikes, the cause of many electric machine break downs, both here in many Victorians homes and small businesses. Smart Meters….Go to Hell where you belong !

TJ&E, China will not have to hack into this grid, it is majority owned by Chinese and Singapore companies.
I strongly recommend an action group against these devices be formed ASAP, and make sure the TRUE facts about these things is made known.
The “independent study” was in fact formulated by EMC technologies, has several flaws, and huge gaps in knowledge, plus has failed to include all the data, as some is missing. I have looked at this study, which is more of a hypothesis than a study or evaluation. How on earth can the “independent study” be considered as a a valid study when the information is grossly misleading and inaccurate?
This is not a long term study this is clutching at straws to deceive the public to believe that this technology is safe, (which it is not safe). Persons do not leave their homes to sleep in their cars for fun, they do so because they body cannot cope with the non-ionizing radiation, (which is pulsed). Their symptoms are very real, this is not psychosomatic or idiopathic, The direct cause for these persons malaise is the smart meters (artificial pulsed frequency) which is incompatible with biological systems. This deployment of smart meters is a gross mistake, they can easily be wired. The only reason they are wireless is to create a false economy out of thin air, so that your (wireless chip) enabled toaster, air-conditioner, fridge, stereo, TV, stereo, fridge, dishwasher, hair-dryer, etc, can communicate its digital electrical signature to the smart meter. The information is then sent to the power distributor, and this information is not secure, it can be hacked by hackers through the back door of the software from hackers in China for example. Any hacker with a little knowledge can find vulnerabilities in any software. If the grid were to go down it would take years to repair, if that is in fact possible. All I see in this article is wishful thinking. I do not see any information of substance which re-assures me, and I have been studying the science on this matter for many years. “Mr Riviere said Powercor had orders to install the meters in every home with no exceptions”. < This is discrimination against the disabled, and Mr Riviere should be mindful that when class actions commence that all involved with the deployment will be held accountable in a court of law for crimes against humanity, as in May 31, 2011 IARC (International Agency for Research on Cancer), part of the (WHO) World Health Organization, included smart meters frequency in the 2B (Possibly Carcinogenic) classification. The whole "smart meter deployment" is a scam that will only benefit the utilities. In fact if you do the maths it will actually increase the "carbon footprint", but you are not supposed to know that, you are supposed to believe the smiling faces. Smart Meters are toxic and a health hazard that will turn many more people into refugees. Who will pay for the medical expensed and relocation expenses for the persons immunologically compromised by the continuous smart meters (pulsed microwave radiation), will it be Powercor, or the government?
Despite what politicians, Powercor & other distributors would have you believe, it is NOT compulsory to have one of these horrible health hazards installed.
There is NO law that states you must have one.

People have not received the information they should have, that much is true. Smart Meters are far more dangerous than the government or power companies are telling us.
They are not safe – there are people who are very ill because of them, so ill they have to sleep elsewhere or sell their home. These people are the canaries in the coal-mine. Not everyone will feel the negative effects, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t there.
In the UK the uptake is voluntary. In some shires in California they are banned. If I lived in Colac I would be locking my meter box.
