A COLAC surgeon says Colac Area Health’s executive and board are doing an “excellent” job and says criticism of the decision makers is “totally unjustified”.
Surgeon Chris Sutherland has defended Colac Area Health's board and executive.
If Geoff Iles and co. are doing such a “fantastic” job why is that patient care has to suffer when cuts are metered out. Why, for example doesn’t Mr.Iles take a pay cut and perhaps Dr. Sutherland could be paid less for the services he provides. I wonder if Dr. Sutherland would have such a high opinion of the board if this was a consequence of cuts.
