    Ms. Singh-Mahil needs to spell out what other things funded by government are less important than Farmer Power.
    She also needs to spell which government she is referring to. It’s a safe bet most farmers vote conservative yet it was the former Conservative Howard Government that deregulated the dairy industry. Current Coalition economic thought is driven by the belief that the market is sacrosanct. In other words the Liberals don’t believe in direct government assistance to any particular industry.
    I wish Ms.Singh-Mahil and Farmer Power luck in dealing with the likelihood of an Abbott Government, they are going to need it.
