  1. How can Council plan to spend tens of thousands of dollars planning a meeting place for “Friends of the Botanic Gardens” when they cannot keep Memorial Square safe for the public

Seems without “friends” the square is overlooked and underfunded

How can Council guarantee the safety of patrons of Carols by Candlelight when limbs are falling and there are no warning signs

Not even this weekend on the tree that was weakened by Thursdays limb fall

And this after the CEO said that signs may be put out on windy days

    The system has failed allready

Perhaps they should transfer the carols to Central Square in the interests of community safety

  2. These trees are long overdue for removal!!! For all the money the council have spent on ‘Experts’, they could of had the lot cut out twice and replanted.
