Comedians Joel Creasey, left, and Rhys Nicholson are in Colac this week for a film project about homophobia and to perform stand-up comedy. Creasey has previously been the target of homophobic incidents in Colac.

  1. a handful of idiots being ‘tough’ in front of their mates does not make colac homophobic. I don’t like the man, but because he’s really not funny at all.
    I won’t be at his ‘gig’, because I don’t go to ‘gigs’ and whatever idiots turn up and try and cause trouble, they don’t speak for me, or the vast majority of this community. Of course, bringing a film crew along will only encourage the idiots.
    And please, speak to other people, people that don’t go to your ‘gig’, and ones that aren’t out with their mates getting drunk and out to show how ‘tough’ they are. Get a real idea of what the majority of this town thinks.
    And do it without the cameras.
