  1. Another good waste of time then!
I and many others already live on Murray st and have no problem with most of the traffic including trucks, although personally I am tired of motorist speeding and doing other things like using their mobile devices… but that’s another issue.
To me, the main concern is with the trucks slowing the flow through the city center (and vise versa) and them running red on traffic lights.
The plans for an alternative route should of been planned and acted on a long time ago! Look at Portland for an example, it works fine there as their council had the sense to think ahead.

    1. Councils Local Laws and our Police also need to get out and enforce their powers more in regard to parking and speeders on Murray st and around our schools.
If the Police are worried that I’ll tell people they’re near my house they’re wrong! Get out here and catch the law breakers… I’d enjoy watching that better. ?
