COLAC district motorists want the State Government to ban cyclists on the Deans Marsh-Lorne Road.

Deans Marsh resident Mark Fagan and Lorne bus driver Alex Lorenzi want cyclists off the Deans Marsh-Lorne Road to prevent accidents.
I along with about 20 others travelled to Colac from Wangaratta in order to ride our bicycles around your city for a couple of days. We started on Monday 17/10/2011 but were somewhat taken aback by your bold front page headline BAN THE BIKES. Not the most friendly of welcomes.
On reading the article one finds that it referred to only one road! May I respectfully suggest that your bold heading was not really appropriate. There is of course another answer and that is to widen the road.
