First-year Swan wins close football vote count

A DECISION to join his mates at Alvie this season has earned midfielder Tyler Flanigan the highest individual accolade for a Colac district under-17.5 footballer.

Alvie recruit Tyler Flanigan, pictured, finished one vote ahead of Apollo Bay’s John Tucker and Birregurra’s Ethan Floyd to win Colac District Football League’s under-17.5 best-and-fairest award in a thrilling count.
