Three more Colac Otway people have recovered from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, with the shire’s active case count falling to 36.

Three more Colac Otway people have recovered from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, with the shire’s active case count falling to 36.

The case count was 39 yesterday.

Colac Otway’s total number of cases since the outbreak started remains at 97, meaning there have been no new cases in the past 24 hours.

But Surf Coast shire’s active case count is up one to six. Corangamite’s active cases remain at zero.

Across south-west Victoria, Greater Geelong has 151 active cases, Ballarat has 22, Golden Plains has three, Warrnambool has eight active cases, Moyne has one active case, and Glenelg Shire has five.

Victoria has recorded 216 new cases of coronavirus since yesterday, with the total number of cases now at 17,446, of which 7155 are active. This is down from 7274 active cases yesterday.

There have been 12 new deaths from COVID-19 reported since yesterday: Three men in their 70s, four women in their 80s, one man in his 80s, three women in their 90s and one man in his 90s.
